Disability & Inclusion

Grey Street Primary School values inclusion of a diverse range of students with various abilities, identities, and backgrounds and understands how this benefits the whole school community.  At GSPS we understand the need to make adjustments so every child is included, validated and able to succeed.

Every member of the school community is responsible for respecting the Human Rights of children by supporting the inclusion of all students.

This work is led by the Disability & Inclusion Leading Teacher, who oversees the implementation of Department policy pertaining to Disability Inclusion and is able to provide advice and support to classroom teachers on inclusive practice (including intervention and funding options), disability, learning difficulties and individual education planning.
